Alabama Update 4 p.m.

| August 3, 2008 @ 3:52 pm | Reply

Thankfully, today’s storms are nothing like the ones from yesterday.

The storms are not as well supported by the upper wind fields today.

At 4 p.m., showers and storms are widely scattered across Central Alabama generally between I-59 and I-65/85.

The strongest ones are over South Alabama. But there is one good one exiting Clay County, moving into Tallapoosa County. Storms in Carroll County, GA will move south southwestward into Randolph and Chambers Counties.

A new storm has formed southeast of the City of Tuscaloosa. Another just northeast of Centreville.
