FIrst Warning…Clay/Randolph

| August 3, 2008 @ 2:28 pm | 5 Replies

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Clay and Randolph Counties until 315 p.m…

The warning includes Ashland and Lineville.

The intensifying storm is just northeast of Lineville. It is actually straddling the Clay/Randolph County line. It is moving ever so slowly SSW at 5 mph. It already shows indications of hail and its top is over 50,000 feet in the atmosphere.

Today’s stronger storms will have a strong potential for damaging winds. In addition, all storms will be accompanied by very heavy rain and deadly lightning. Take cover if you see one approaching or hear thunder.
