Few and Far Between
Showers were scarce across Alabama this afternoon but there were some in progress and others were forming.
If we could grop every shower in the state together, they would not cover one average county.
At 4 o’clock, a few of the “better” showers were:
* Over East Central Lamar County on the west side of the state north of Crossville and NE of Vernon. (Yes, there are two Crossvilles in Alabama)
* South Marion County between Hamilton and Guin
* NE Tuscaloosa County near Abernant
* NE Tallladega County
* North Butler County in South Central Alabama east of Greenville.
These “better” showers are still small and light to moderate. The heaviest is the one east of Greenville.
Favored movement seems to be ever-so-slowly northward. Some are barely moving like they are confused.
