Line of storms across North Alabama from Marion and Winston Counties across Cullman and Marshall Counties, then into DeKalb County in Northeast Alabama. Appears to have weakened a bit in the past hour, but still packing a punch. Lots of lightning and some hail.

Strongest storms over much of Marion and Winston Counties, around Hamilton and Double Springs. Pea size hail reported at Hamilton and Haleyville. WInd damage was just reported near Delmar in Winston County, south of Haleyville. Numerous trees down.

Severe thunderstorm warning across the border in Lowndes County, MS for storm moving into extreme NW Pickens and into Lamar County. Heading toward Vernon. Another strong storm back near Macon MS.

Storms will weaken as we head through the evening, but they will be formidable for the next couple of hours.

Lots of action acorss Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas this afternoon and evening. Five tornado warnings now, including one in Arkansas.
