Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Shelby and Talladega

The warning goes until 2 p.m.

Storms from north of Columbiana to east of Vincent are getting organized and are capable of producing severe weather.

See strong indications of hail.

Winds to 60 mph and 1 inch hail will be possible along with deadly lightning, torrential rains, as well as the threat of developing tornadoes.

Take shelter as these storms approach your area.

Wilsonville, Childersburg and Harpersville should be alert. Also, areas west of the city of Talladega should be alert.
