Tornado Warning Cherokee County

A tornado warning has been issued for Cherokee County until 1:30 p.m.

A tornado warning continues for DeKalb County until 1:15 p.m.

Potentially tornadic storm near and south of Fort Payne. Will cross SR 35 and move north of Blanche.

There is a line of showers and storms from Greene, Hale and Marengo Counties up through Shelby and Jefferson Counties and on into East Alabama.

One of the strongest storms is near Calera.

We are hearing thunder in Trussville.

Big trouble still in Central Mississippi around Jackson where tornadoes are being reported. A possible tornado touchdown at Dogwood Festival Mall at Lakeland and Old Fannin.
