There is significant damage in the city of Cullman from an apparent tornado. Details are sketchy at this time.

This same storm is now between Arab and Guntersville in Marshall County. A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Marshall County until 12:15 p.m.

In addition, wind damage was reported around Arley, Nauvoo and Lynn just before 11 a.m. Trees and power lines are down in Arley. Some trees are down on mobile homes.

A line of thunderstorms is over North Central Alabama. Ahead of the line, showers and storms are forming in the I-20 corridor from Sumter County over to Clay, Cleburne and Randolph Counties. Some of these storms will become severe as the atmosphere over Alabama becomes more unstable.
