Thanks to Blount County EMA Director Max Armstrong for this update on damage in his county

Storm damage preliminary estimates: one store front in downtown Oneonta lost front window… clearly defined tornado path from south of Town of Highland Lake across southeast Blount County toward Chandler Mountain in St. Clair County… possibly 20+ houses with some type of damage… extensive tree and power lines down w/ widespread power outages in Streight Mountain…Red Cross working to shelter at least 3 families…
