We sure have been putting it to him over the past several weeks with a number of good rain events. Here is a long list from last night’s storms and early today. It is inevitable that I overlooked a few and remember, we get more than one report from some communities which explains the differing amounts

OTHER MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
* Sgt Matthew Romei, Fairfield Police Department, reports that high wind during the night blew an 18-wheeler into the median wall on I-59 southbound at mile marker 118. The truck driver was injured.

* 15 miles west of Hayneville (Lowndes County) residents were trapped for a time in their homes due to flood water in the Collirene.

* NWS Birmingham reports that the damage in Eutaw last night was due to an EF1 tornado. The NWS has two crews making damage surveys today.
