More Chicago Pictures

My daughter Rebecca who lives in Chicago called yesterday evening to tell me that they had six more inches of snow – I think they’ve had over 45 inches so far this winter making this the 9th highest seasonal snowfall total on record through February 12th for Chicago.

She said she was working only half a day today, so since she would be coming home in the bright sunshine, she’d get some snow pictures for us southern guys who yearn for snow. Well, apparently the sun was very powerful with a lot of the new snow disappearing in the bright sunshine even though the temperatures there remained only in the 20s. So she got some snow in her pictures but took a few shots of the more interesting architecture of the area.

Of course, when we talked this afternoon, I bragged about the flizzard we had down here. With over 45 inches under her belt this winter, she was NOT impressed with my tales of our snow. What do you do with kids these days?
