Rain Rumors!

| November 14, 2011 @ 12:55 pm | 1 Reply

Well, for a change, they are not really rumors–instead a bona fide reality.

Late this morning scattered light rain developed in two places in the state, one from about NE Birmingham into Blount and St. Clair County.

The other area in Central Alabama from Chilton County south to about Montgomery. Steady northeast movement.

Better news!

A growing indication of some beneficial rain starting tomorrow and extending into Tuesday night and Wednesday. Much of the area could receive one inch total or more.

Why?

Another storm system and front will be approaching from the west. Look for more details in this afternoon’s discussion here on the blog as well as the afternoon edition of the Seven Day Forecast.
