Science Teachers: Only a Few Seats Left For Weather Workshop

It’s not too late to sign up for the outstanding Science Teachers’ Workshop being put on by the Education Committee of the National Weather Association during their 36th Annual National Meeting to be held at the Wynfrey Hotel the week of October 15th-21st. But hurry, there are only a few seats left!

An tremendous lineup has been designed for you, including Science Writer and former USA TODAY Weather Page Editor Jack Williams, Dr. Greg Forbes from The Weather Channel talking about the April 27th Superoutbreak, an inspirational message from James Spann and an opportunity for you to supercharge your classes’ engagement by getting them involve in CoCoRaHS.

You will leave with everything you need, including some great gifts and tremendous teaching resources.

This workshop is being held the day before the Alabama Science Teachers Association Meeting at the McWane Science Center on Tuesday, October 18th.

Tell your students and friends that the NWA is also sponsoring a Weather Fest will also occur on Saturday morning, October 15th at the McWane Science Center from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be games, activities, demonstrations and talks for all ages.
