Time to look out the window… below is the developing rain shield over Texas… right on schedule.
And, the 12Z NAM is running now; at first glance I don’t see much of a need to change our ongoing forecast (read the morning discussion). I am headed out to Oak Grove Elementary… will be back later this morning for a full review of the situation.
Remember, we are getting to the point very soon where we need to quit looking at model output, and look out the window. Be watching the radars and satellite images to the west over the next 12 hours; they will really tell the story.
