Late Afternoon Alabama Storms

They have increased in intensity somewhat late this afternoon but still not real numerous. Here are the main ones as of 5:25 pm.

* NWS in Huntsville has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for SE Limestone and NW Morgan County in North Central Alabama until; 6 pm.

OTHER STRONGER STORMS
* NE Blount and East Cullman County
* Near Decatur, Extreme North
* South edge of Walker County
* West and North Greene County, West Central Alabama
* North Washington County, Extreme SW Alabama

Movement seems to be toward the southwest.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed North and Part of Central Alabama under a “slight risk” the remainder of this afternoon and evening.. The risk extends almost to Montgomery.
