Storms Dropping Southeastward

A complex of thunderstorms is dropping southeastward through Northeast Amississippi and Northwest Alabama thi smorning.

Hopefully it will old together to bring some rain down into Central Alabama to help alleviate the drought. Hopefully it can do this without creating any severe weather.

But, the NWS Memphis has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for several counties in Northeast Mississippi.

These storms will get into Northwest Alabama’s Marion, Lamar and Fayette Counties.

The storms have gusted out in the past few minutes, which could indicate they are going to weaken now.

Rain and storms cover the western half of the Tennessee Valley Counties of North Alabama as well, with some storms in t he Huntsville Metro as well.
