The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for DeKalb Co. in NE Alabama until 1:45 p.m.
Strong storm near Sylvania is moving toward Fort Payne. It most likely has hail and could produce damaging winds. Lightning and brief heavy rain will be threats as well.
