Showers/Storms Have Mostly Died Down

| June 10, 2011 @ 8:14 pm | 1 Reply

Most of the day’s showers and storms have dissipated this evening, but there are still a few left.

In fact, storms have recently formed over Blount and northern St. Clair Counties. They are moving to the southwest. They are straddling the Marshall/Etowah/Blount County lines between Boaz and Altoona, extending southwest to northeast of Oneonta. Another storm has bubbled up south of Highland Lake moving toward Springville.

It will be interesting to see if these storms hold together to get into northeastern Jefferson County.
