CENTRAL CRITTENDEN AND NORTHEASTERN ST. FRANCIS COUNTIES…

AT 640 PM CDT…TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED A FUNNEL CLOUD.
THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR BRICE…OR 6 MILES SOUTHWEST OF WEST
MEMPHIS…MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH. TRAINED SPOTTER REPORTED A FUNNEL
CLOUD NEAR THE TOWN OF NEUHARDT AT 635 PM.

LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO MARION…WEST
MEMPHIS…BARTLETT…GERMANTOWN…MIDTOWN MEMPHIS…MILLINGTON…
CRITTENDEN…SHEARERVILLE…VINCENT…JULIUS…CUNNINGHAM CORNER…
EBONY…GAVIN AND JAMES MILL.

THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES AREAS NEAR LAKE MCKELLAR.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A STORM SHELTER. IF NO
STORM SHELTER IS AVAILABLE…SEEK SHELTER ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF THE
BUILDING IN AN INTERIOR HALLWAY OR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET. USE
BLANKETS OR PILLOWS TO COVER YOUR BODY AND ALWAYS STAY AWAY FROM
WINDOWS.

IF IN MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES…EVACUATE THEM AND GET INSIDE A
SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER. IF NO SHELTER IS AVAILABLE…LIE FLAT IN THE
NEAREST DITCH OR OTHER LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.
