This picture was snapped during one of the big snowstorms in the D.C. area this year by our next Guest WeatherBrain, Brent Macaloney. Your job is to guess what the weather phenomenon which is occurring along the deck railing is called.

Just email me at bill.murray at theweathercompany.com and we will draw from the correct answers on the show Monday night.

The lucky winner will win a Midland NOAA Weatheradio.

Brent is in charge of the National Weather Service Storm Data program and the severe weather verification program and we will be talking things like FAR, POD, POPs and Lead Time. It will be an interesting discussion. Visit the show’s website at www.WeatherBrains.com.
