The intense storms now extend from near Hayden to Warrior to east of Gardendale to eastern portions of the Birmingham metro area to Inverness, Alabaster and Montevallo.
They are approaching Snead, Oneonta, Altoona, Springville, Ashville, Trussville, Argo, Pell City, Ragland, Vincent, Chelsea, Childersburg and Columbiana.
