High Wind Potential

High potential for wind damage in this severe thunderstorm warning, which is outlined in yellow.

The tornado warning will be canceled for Jefferson County…but the severe thunderstorm warning will continue…

Winds gusted to 71 mph at the Tuscaloosa Airport…and 56 mph atop the Tuscaloosa Courthouse.

Possible tornado entering southwestern Cullman County near Arkadelphia and the Colony.

Areas from Hayden to Warrior to Morris to Gardendale to western sections/downtown Birmingham…to Tarrant, Irondale, Mountain Brook and Hoover should prepare for damaging winds.
