Strong storms are pushing into Southwest Alabama this morning, with additional storms over the northwest counties of the state…

Storms over the southwest counties (Sumter, Choctaw, Washington, Mobile) could be strong enough to produce winds in excess of 50 mph in spots. The storms over Northwest Alabama are not severe at this point. The greatest risk of severe storms today will come this afternoon and tonight, and the most serious severe weather threat is tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night.
