Alabama at 3

Not much has changed in the past 90 minutes across Alabama.

Fairly sedate showers and storms are along I-59 generally between Birmingham and Meridian. East of Birmingham there are a few showers along I-20.

A couple of heavier storms are into Sumter and Greene Counties Counties. A heavier storm was near Meridian, moving toward Livingston.

Showers and storms over eastern Mississippi will affect Pickens, Sumter, Greene, Hale and Tuscaloosa counties in the next two hours. Can’t rule out something becoming severe and the storm moving into Sumter County is probably the best candidate, but for the most part, just isolated strong storms with some flooding is probably the worst we’ll see over the next couple of hours.

Flash flood warnings continue for all the Alabama counties along the Mississippi border south to Pickens County. Cullman County also is under one.
