The storm that moved through Tuscaloosa has caused extremely strong winds.

Numerous reports of tree limbs down. There are reports of trees down on the UA campus. Power is reportedly out at Rose Towers.

A large tree is blocking Lurleen Wallace Blvd. South.

Doppler radar shows 80 mph winds just off the surface moving into Bibb County. Strongest winds will be along Highway 5 between North Johns and West Blocton shortly.
