Here is the latest on the severe weather situation..

…Tornado warning counties for Calhoun, Clay, Cleburne and Talladega Counties til 7 p.m. A tornado was reported earlier near Alpine. This is the only tornado warning in the Birmingham TV market now.

…Tornado warning continues for Lowndes and Montgomery Counties. Possible tornado near Fort Deposit.

…Tornado warning for Marengo County til 715 p.m…..tornado near Butler.

…Tornado warning for Dallas and Perry Counties…rotation passing just south and southeast of Marion.

…Severe thunderstorm warning for Walker and Fayette Counties…line of strong storms from east of Double Springs to just west of Jasper…

There is a severe thunderstorm warning in the northwester corner of the state for a storm that had a tornado warning when it was in Prentiss Co. Mississippi.

There is light at the end of the tunnel…the storm in northwest Alabama is along the cold front which is slowly moving east. In fact, the storms have just about completely cleared eastern Mississippi.
