Beautiful View From 22,500 Miles

What a great view of the severe thunderstorms over Oklahoma from this visible satellite image…

Note the line of towering cumulus clouds just west of Dallas/Fort Worth… those are along the dry line. The dewpoint at Fort Worth is 55, but it drops to 11 at Wichita Falls behind the dry line. Also, note the blowing dust in the dry air.

Always amazing to me watching this kind of system.
