Severe Thunderstorm Warning Northern Cullman Co.

We continue to track a potentially severe thunderstorm early this Saturday morning mow moving over northern Cullman County. The NWS Huntsville has extended the warning eastward to include northern Culman county, as well and Morgan and southern Lawrence Counties.

It will affect places like…West Point, Vinemont, Hartselle, Priceville, Somerville, Eva, Fairview, Baileyton and Holly Pond.

Expect hail to the size of pennies, 60 mph wind gusts, torrential rains and copious lightning as it moves east at 45 mph.

The storm that is now east of Oxford will reach Franklin County in Alabama by 7 a.m.
