I sure hope that the areas affected by wild-fires this week got some much needed rain overnight. The Forest Service has been VERY busy lately fighting those fires.

Here is a list of some rain amounts from the storms of last night. It appears that much (or most) of the state received rain. This list is not all-inclusive and it includes reports from the 33/40 Skywatchers and official NWS reports:

1.06 West Trussville (near downtown)
0.73 Decatur
0.78 Muscle Shoals
0.82 Cottondale
1.09 Samantha
1.06 SW Lamar County (Millport area)
0.84 Deerfoot Parkway at Trussville-Clay Road
1.30 Hueytown
0.45 Auburn
1.01 Birmingham Airport
0.79 Calera (Shelby County Airport)
0.67 Montgomery/Dannelly Field
0.95 Tuscaloosa Airport
1.04 Pinson
0.67 Guntersville
0.59 Scottsboro
0.81 Russellville Airport
