Still not much going on. The real action is well back to the west. Just before 5, the main line of intense thunderstorms extended from Little Rock SW to near Texarkana.

The line is moving east in no real hurry but the individual storms are moving toward the northeast.

Here in Alabama, no real showers going yet. However radar is beginning to show some tiny weak ones NE of Birmingham. In fact from NE Trussville, I can see a nice buildup that looks like it could become a thunderstorm later.

FEW LATE AFTERNOON REPORTS
…72, cloudy, Muscle Shoals, south wind gusts to 36
…72, partly sunny, Gadsden
…76, mostly sunny, Tuscaloosa
…75, partly sunny, Birmingham, south wind gusts to 30
…74, Montgomery, partly sunny
