10 O’clock Alabama Update

Widespread rain across Alabama at this hour. Rain is getting heavier in parts of Central Alabama including the Greater Birmingham Area.

NWS, Huntsville has three Extreme Northeast Alabama Counties under a Flash Flood Warning until 11:45, otherwise there were no formal warnings in progress.

Only the Northwest part of the state was not getting rain.

This is a big rain event. At Bear Creek, in NW Alabama, well over three inches occurred just since midnight. We most certainly will hear of some 4 inch or even 5 inch amounts later.

Has been a long, long night. Headed for a SPN (Super Power Nap) serious football only two hours away. This blog will be kept up to date.
