Diminishing Evening Showers

A not very distinct line of showers early this evening extended from about Eutaw and Moundville in West Alabama northeastward to Shelby and Jefferson County.

The number and intensity of the showers greatly diminished. A few moderate showers north and east of Birmingham.

Moving northeast

Down in Southwest Alabama, a thunderstorm was dumping heavy rain near Monroeville, in Monroe County. Another one in East Mississippi will move into Choctaw County in SW Alabama. Both of those storms moving NE.

This will probably be our last update unless something unexpected happens.
