Not much going on in the radar department this afternoon.

Widely scattered storms over the northern third of the state and isolated storms over the middle third, with widespread light to moderate rain from dying storms over South Alabama.

Storms were growing over northern Cullman County, centered near Good Hope. Another vigorous storm was north of Jasper in Walker County.

Storms were building over Northwest Alabama, especially over Northwest Marion and western Franklin Counties. This activity was mainly northwest and north of Hamilton.

A new little storm was firing near Clanton in Chilton County. Storms were over the cf of Montgomery.

A building storm near Suttle in Perry County was moving north toward Sprott.

Everything was moving to the north slowly.

The storms will contain sharp lightning and very heavy rainfall, as well as the potential for damaging wind gusts.
