5:30 pm Alabama Quick Look

Thunderstorms over most of Shelby and Jefferson County have moved on to visit other areas. However, these two as of 5:30 pm

…..along the Jefferson/Walker line NW of Birmingham. Moving into Walker County and in the general direction of Dora, Cordova and Jasper. Still has too much lightning and downpours of rain.

…..Smaller thunderstorm near the Chilton/Shelby county line moving NW toward Calera and Columbiana.

Meanwhile, in West Alabama, a larger cluster of showers and storms over much of Greene, Sumter and Pickens County. Earlier, there was a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in this cluster but no longer. They are moving toward the northwest.
