Storms developing

Clouds left over by overnight storms to our north have kept things quiet over most of north and west Alabama today, and scattered thunderstorms have developed, mainly east of I-65 and south of US-78. Sunshine is increasing over north and west Alabama now, and with atmospheric moisture on the BHM sounding very high this morning, temperatures rising into the mid 90s, and dewpoints in the lower 70s, expect scattered thunderstorms to develop over north and west Alabama this afternoon. Some places may get no rain, while others may get 1″.
