Scattered showers and storms are developing across Central Alabama this afternoon.

The Tennessee Valley is free of showers, finding itself behind the weak surface boundary that is dropping southward.

Two of the more notable thundershowers are near Moores Bridge in Northwest Tuscaloosa County and over Logan Martin Lake in S. Clair County.

Others were just north of Prattville.

Still nothing especially strong yet.

More showers and storms will continue to develop during the afternoon.
