96 Petersburg, West Va.
98 Hagerstown, Md.
98 Baltimore-Washington Airport
101 Newark
101 New York/JFK Airport

Today, at noon, EDT, it was already 93 at New York Central Park. The official forecast for NYC this afternoon is 98 and for Tuesday 101. A Heat Advisory is posted. They do expect the high for Wednesday to back off to the lower 90s.

ELSEWHERE IN THE GOOD OLE USA
115 was the hottest Sunday in Death Valley. On the opposite end of the thermometer, it was 32 at Barrow, on the North Coast of Alaska, with a wind chill of 22.
