8 o’clock Quick Look

At 8 o’clock tonight no showers over about the north half of Alabama. Drier air has gradually displaced the very humid air.

A broad zone of showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain was downstate however. The storms were along and south of a line from about Aliceville, Greensboro, Marion, Montgomery, Phenix City southward. Some of the heavier downpours:

…..North Lowndes County

The whole system continues to push slowly southward.
