Thunderstorms Down South
Very little action over the north half of Alabama at noon. Almost all of the showers and thunderstorms were over the southern counties, mainly the southwest.
The showers and thunderstorms were moving north and northeast. Some of them as far north as Wilcox Country. There were fewer showers south of the Montgomery area around Troy.
The strongest thunderstorms (and the most lightning) were across Wilcox, Monroe, Clarke and Washington County.
