Messy over Jefferson, Bibb, Tuscaloosa

Thunderstorms merging over northern Bibb County are producing intense rainfall and lightning at this hour. Look for some potential flooding from these storms as well as some hail.

Heavy storms are also continuing over western Jefferson County from western Birmingham down to Bessemer.

Also have an intense area of storms over Morgan and Marshall Counties in North Alabama that will continue dropping into Cullman and Blount Counties over the next hour or so.

Strong storms moving into Northeast Alabama from Georgia. Cherokee County getting the heaviest activity right now.
