A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect now until 8 p.m. CDT for parts of Northeast Alabama.
In Central Alabama, this watch includes: Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, Etowah and St. Clair Counties.
In North Alabama…this watch includes: Cullman, DeKalb, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall and Morgan Counties.
