How to Drive Storm Chasers Crazy!
It is not totally unheard of but it is unusual.
This afternoon severe weather watches were in effect all the way from the US-Mexico Border northward to the Canadian Border!
From SW Texas, the watches are strung out northward through the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandle, Western Nebraska and Kansas through South Dakota and North Dakota.
From the Texas Panhandle northward it is all Tornado Watches. The SPC has a risk in effect also all along those areas but it is a Moderate Risk for Northern Nebraska through most of South Dakota into Southern North Dakota.
About 14 actual Tornado Warnings have been issued during the last hour–all the way from Amarillo, Tex., to Bismark, South Dakota!
Numerous Severe Thunderstorm Warnings also and a lot of Flash Flood Warnings.
There is also a slight risk of severe weather over Extreme SE Missouri (the Missouri Bootheel) and Extreme NE Arkansas.
No rest for the weary…
