The storm approaching Tuscaloosa has broad rotation, but nothing tight…

The greatest threat will come from the potential for large hail and strong straight line winds. Nickel to dime sized hail was reported in the community of Snoddy in Greene County when this storm passed through. The NWS in Birmingham believes this storm has the potential to produce golf ball sized hail in the core.

The storm is moving northeast at only 25 mph… the new polygon warning for the storm is below (the warning is in effect until 5:15)…
