At 1 am, a long line of thunderstorms extended from near Nashville southwestward across the NW corner of Alabama into NE Mississippi and to near Jackson.

Overall, there has been a decline in strength of these storms. Strongest ones were over NE Mississippi

The line of storms moving east. No recent warnings along the line. The last Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued by NWS/Nashville at 11:31 pm.

It will be after 3 am before these thunderstorms reach the Birmingham area but we will continue to watch. They are also expected to weaken some more so we may escape warnings.

Not sealed in stone. We will be here rest of tonight.
