Thanks to Paul and Chris Jones for this video… they write:

“Paul & Chris Jones drove from Mc Calla to Guntersville to fish on Lake Guntersville Saturday 1-16-2010 to find the temprature to be 12 degrees colder at the lake than it was at home. The water at the boat launch was froze over, and the Ice was extending fifty yards or more from the bank. The water temp. was 37.6 degrees. Proceeding to the nearest creek, it was impassable. When returning to the boat launch four hours later after fishing where it was possible, the water had frozen even more, which made it hard to place the boat back on the trailer. Attached is a video of slowly going thru the ice to drive the boat back on the trailer. Looking forward to the warmer tempratures this weekend-and no ice to contend with.”
