Thanks to KRBC-TV meteorologist Chris Whited for these images… he writes:

“Hi James,

Long morning for our news staff covering this snow storm affect Abilene and the Big Country of Texas. Abilene ended up with anywhere between 3-4 inches of snow and way, way to many accidents. We had a few spots that reported nearly 5 inches around the viewing area. Nothing like the “Blizzard of 1993″ back home in Alabams but still something nice here at Christmas. My co-anchor this morning is from Michigan and should be use to this kind of weather but she wasn’t too happy dealing with with the snow and cold!”
