Late at Night in Alabama–10:45 Report
Showers continue late tonight but they are not very numerous in Alabama and not very heavy.
At 10:40 pm, the most extensive rain, light to moderate, was over the NE and East Central part of the state from Scottsboro and Fort Payne southward to Tallapoosa County.
Over on the west side of the state, not as many showers and most of them were light.
By far the heavier showers with this weather system (including a few peels of thunder) were down the west side of Mississippi from near Memphis southward to west of Jackson and to near New Orleans.
Every thing was moving NNE but the line was moving ever-so-slowly toward the east.
No more Tornado Watches and no warnings in effect,
