The main rain area over Mississippi is moving due east.

The heaviest rain should fall along and north of a line from Tuscaloosa County through Shelby County and over to Randolph County.

A large area of Central and North Alabama will receive one to two inches of rain through Monday morning.

Winds have gotten quite brisk over Mississippi. Easterly winds averaging 13 mph and gusting to 23 mph at Greenville and Greenwood just observed a 33 mph gust.

No lightning just yet, although there could eventually be some.
