Storm Alert Xtreme 2009!
Our annual training event for existing, and want-to-be ABC 33/40 Skywatchers will be on Saturday, November 14 at the BJCC during the Alabama International Auto Show. The best SKYWARN trainer in the nation, our own Brian Peters, will be teaching, and I will be there along with the rest of the ABC 33/40 weather team. I just wanted to get this out now so you can mark it on your calendar; will probably run from about 9:00 until 2:00. We only do this once a year, and I get hundreds of questions every year from people wanting to be trained as a severe weather spotter. This is the deal, and of course, there is no cost.
