Monitoring Southern Tennessee Storms

| September 6, 2009 @ 8:07 pm | 1 Reply

Things are quiet across North Central Alabama tonight.

A large area of moderate to occasionally heavy rain continues over South Alabama.

Storms east of Memphis tonight continue to be strong to severe.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Hardeman county in southern Tennessee.

They are now about 90 miles northwest of Muscle Shoals.

If they hold together and continue at the same speed, they will reach the northwest corner of the state around 10:15-10:30 p.m.

They could affect Marion and Winston Counties later.

We will be watching.
