It is the definition of an isolated storm.

It pulsed quickly into life about 5 a.m. southwest of Jasper. It developed lightning as it passed south of Jasper.

It is now between Cordova and Parrish, approaching Dora, West Jefferson and Sumiton.

It might make it into northwestern Jefferson county north of Graysville.

Brief heavy rain and occasional lightning are accompanying the storm.
